Our guests who stayed in the gite in July 2020 wrote us the following brief report of their various outings.

Cycling along the Somme is highly recommended! It's flat and safe.
Not crowded at all and a wonderful nature.
From the first time we drove via Sailly Laurette towards Corbie.
The second time was much nicer. We left Cappy in the direction of Péronne.
We passed locks, could admire the boats in the harbor of Cappy and saw the little "Train of the Upper Somme" and could have a splash ourselves.
Nature is wonderful. You can have a picnic on the lawn.
It is really ideal to recharge your batteries and enjoy the peace.
We did kayaking from Cappy. Reservations are required.
You can also choose for the stand-up paddle. Bicycles are also available.
One hour is good for kayaking.
You doesn't have to be an Olympic athlete to brave the water.
It is wonderful to enjoy the calm river.
Amiens is also recommended. You can dine blissfully on the water's edge.
You can park on board of the city.
The light show at the cathedral in the evening is certainly worthwhile.
